Nicolay Kreidler
Nicolay Kreidler, co-founder of Spa College, brings over twenty years of business ownership, managementand hands-on experience to his work as a spa business service provider and educator.
His desire to create a venue for bodyworkers and spa technicians to receive support in foundational and continuing education not found elsewhere, was realized when he created Spa College. Spa College was launched to provide real world education for spa service providers, technicians, managers and owners with an emphasis on sustainable development and practices.
An accomplished practitioner of massage, Watsu and yoga Nicolay retreats regularly to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Antigua and California to teach, certify and inspire bodyworkers, and those looking to explore their own healing potential.
His initiation into the service and hospitality industry began with his professional career through the restaurant business as an executive gourmet chef. After a transformative experience inspired him to become a vegetarian and research the relationship between health and nutrition, he created and owned the two largest whole-food restaurants in Europe serving over 1600 customers a day. During this time he developed many unique services for the time such as on-site childcare, club membership, kindergarten catering and produce contracts with local organic farmers.
His transition from the restaurant business into the spa world evolved during a personal sabbatical and journey to study healing modalities around the world. Those who have been involved in hospitality and spa business fields will testify to the operational and financial similarity of both fields.
Since then he has served as spa director, coach and mentor to numerous spa projects encouraging an eco-centric approach to design and management.
Nicolay provides spa business services with his company iSpad and massage certification through the Board of Massage in Hawaii with Touching from the Heart - Massage Workshops, Training, Intensives and Retreats.
