Deidre Sommers
Deidre Sommers was raised within a Sufi community and by a family of healers. From a very early age, she discovered the power of love and our innate capacity to heal and awaken to our true nature. Deidre is the founder of Alchemy of the Heart, a sanctuary for conscious evolution in Calistoga, Ca. since 2002.
Deidre's mission and passion in life is being a visionary and steward of evolution. She is a certified Biodynamic practitioner and teacher of Biodynamic Cranial Touch through the Dynamic Stillness School. She is also a certified massage therapist as well as an ordained minister in professional practice in the U.S. and Europe since 1989.
She has been initiated by the Q'ero shamans of Peru (direct descendents of the Inca) in the ancient healing practices of the Americas, as well as in the Munay-Ki (munay-ki.org) which are the nine great rights of initiation in the Incan medicine way. Deidre is also currently one of the main founding stewards of an ecologically sustainable retreat and experiential learning center called Avalon Springs in Middletown, Ca.
