Training Survey Results. And the Winner is...
Expected Results of Last Month's Training Needs Survey Are In. Thanks to all those who participated.
When the thought of training reaches the mind of many spa owners and individual practitioner's, it is seen as something that is an unpleasant duty and another out of pocket cost. Do we really need to be trained on the newest machine, trend or oohhh....here come those continuing education credit requirements again.
Let's get training back to something that is affordable, accessible and exciting for us as business people and healing arts specialists. How do we do that? For starters, helping provide information for industry surveys like the one from Spa College. This allows us to gather your needs as experts and build processes to help fulfill those needs. Candy Nicolson of Agape Healing Center is one of those experts, and the gracious winner of our Sabai Spa Package www.sabaispa.com for her participation in last months training survey. Adventure Travel, & Eco Tourism: Costa Rica Coast to Coast .
Take a vacation and learn the secrets to spa essentials in paradise. What makes Costa Rica so attractive to so many people? One of the things Costa Rica and it's local people are known for are the hospitable level of interaction, and the ability for tourists to enjoy a diverse range of terrain and climates in a country the size of West Virginia.
You can travel from a cool mountainous climate to volcanic hiking locations and even try your hand (or foot) at repelling down a waterfall. You still have plenty of exotic locations to hit during your stay in this sub tropical climate. Take a zip line through the canopy on the Caribbean and surf the left breaks on the Pacific. Top it off with a visit to Mount Chirripo, where at 12,532 feet, they say you can see both the sun set and the moon rise at the same time. Curios? Read on |

The following story is from a recent email dialog we had with Jini Carlson whose personal health forced her to look at her nutritional needs and who has created an alternate source of income in addition to her bodywork practice... Specialized Services - Cancer Recovery
One element of being successful is to find one's niche. As a spa, we can target new client groups by offering specialized services. As massage goes mainstream, and spas become more prevalent so does the need to specialize become a necessity. Cheryl Chapman wrote to us and her focus is a great example of what this specialization could be. Not only is the work she does a great and hard to find service to her clients, but she also shares her experience with those who want to develop their practice. Visit her web site |
