Irene is Director of Diamond Massage & Wellness Center, the very first Wellness Center in San Francisco, specializing in Pain and Stress Relief, Rehabilitation, Pregnancy Programs, Ergonomic Assessment, On-site Chair Massage.
She is educator and founder of Active Myofascial Therapy-The Diamond Method. (Pain relief and improve function)
Irene is also Founder of www.SuccessfulMassageTherapist.org, providing most needed resources such as business coaching, marketing tips, downloads of office forms and documents, and consulting to help therapists around the world be more successful.
Irene Diamond, R.T. has been called "An energetic, inspirational gem!" She thrives on providing the definitive method of pain relief and functional rehabilitation for her clients. Clients finally experience relief through Active Myofascial Therapy ~ The Diamond Method (AMT) after all other means of therapy and treatments have been exhausted.
As a result of her own paralysis from a spinal cord injury, Irene created the rehabilitation method of Active Myofascial Therapy ~ The Diamond Method which she teaches to PT's, DC's and MT's across the country. AMT was featured in ADVANCE Magazine for Physical Therapists and has appeared in other publications and resources. Irene has been a practicing therapist since 1988.
She enlightens coaches, trainers, health care providers and other 'thera-preneurs' with her education and learned-in-the-trenches strategies, tactics and skills in both business and clinical therapy technique. Through hundreds of live seminars, articles, online coaching and business-growth services, and workshops, her clients experience rapid results, stability, increased visibility and profitability.
Always ahead of the crowd, at the age of 25 she established the world's first travel business providing fitness and wellness programs exclusively on cruise ships. At the same time she started her private therapy practice. She proposed in-flight chair massage to national airlines before Virgin Atlantic did, and she opened the first Wellness Center in San Francisco, CA, which is now one of the top-rated centers for massage and therapy in the city.
