Frequently Asked Questions

 

When should I arrive?

For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest you arrive at least a day before a workshop begins if you are travelling in from outside the area to acclimatize and get to know the environment. Please allow yourself enough travel time to provide for any unforeseen delays. Please note that especially air travel can be delayed and allow yourself ample time to arrive at the airport, catch connecting flights and collect baggage.

 

What do I need to bring?

We provide you with all the necessary tools, products and equipment unless otherwise stated. Depending on the destination, you will want to bring appropriate clothing and personal items. Some items you need or are accustomed to may not be available at the workshop venue or in the country. Formal dress is not required for the workshops. Comfortable clothing is recommended. You will be practicing hands-on so please take this into consideration when packing your clothes.

 

What if I have special health concerns?

If you have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies that require special attention, please notify the facilitator upon registration. This will allow us to accommodate you better and to determine your needs to enable you to take advantage of the benefits of a workshop. This request also includes any special diet concerns, desired activities or additional tour enhancements.

 

Will I receive written material?

You will receive a printed manual of the all course material covered that also contains lots of additional information.

 

What is the daily schedule?

Workshops are intensives and run all day with breaks for lunch and bathroom breaks. Schedules vary depending on location, course content, meal times and other factors. There is at least a one day break during workshops over 6 days for integration about halfway through the workshop. Daily itinerary and focus are subject to change, but the measurable learned skill will not be diminished.

 

Payment

A deposit of US$ 150 (or the equivalent in foreign currency) will hold your place in the workshop. Once we receive your deposit, we will email you a Google Checkout Invoice or provide you with other payment options (cash, check, bank-deposit). You will click on the link provided in the email and be able to pay easily and securely online using any major credit card.

 

The balance is due 30 days prior to workshop begin, 60 days if you wish to receive a 10% Early Bird Discount.

Payment for some workshops is being handled directly by the venue itself and the process ßmight differ slightly to payments handled directly by us.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please note that Spa College and Faculty reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop or seminar if we are unable to conduct the event on the date specified. Their is a minimum number of registrants (fully paid) required to proceed with an event. The number of minimum participants will change depending on the particular event.

 

Full payment is required at least 30 days prior to the date of the event. If we need to cancel a workshop, participants will be notified at least 14 days prior to the first day of the scheduled workshop and Spa College will immediately issue refunds. All deposits, including the registration fee will be refunded IN FULL if we cancel a workshop due to low enrollment or other issues beyond our control.

 

Please do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets or make non-refundable deposits on lodging. Workshop cancellations are very unlikely but may occur and Spa College will not be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets, lodging reservations or other costs related to participating in one of our workshops. Please make sure everything can be cancelled with a refund 14 days ahead of time.


Workshop registration is transferable to another qualified individual should you choose to withdraw your registration.

 

You may cancel your workshop/seminar registration in writing by email up to 30 days before the event. You must have a confirmation that your cancellation WAS RECEIVED by us.

 

If we receive your cancellation notification in writing 30 days before the event your payment will be refunded less a $150 administration fee.

 

If we receive your cancellation notification in writing between 14 and 30 days days before the event your payment will be refunded less a 50% administration fee.

 

Cancellations within 14 days of the event and all "no shows" will forfeit their full fee.

 

All refunds will be processed after the event is completed.

 

Discounts

Early Bird Discount

If you are registering at least 8 weeks in advance of the first day of a workshop you qualify for a 10% discount. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount. To receive the discount you must pay the full discounted tuition amount 60 days prior to the first day of the workshop.

 

Other Liabilities

In case of cancellation of a workshop Spa College will not be liable for expenses beyond fees paid for workshop tuition. We highly recommend purchasing refundable airline tickets or appropriate travel insurance.

 

Participants are fully responsible for their travel arrangements to the workshop venue. Spa College cannot be held responsible for any travel related late arrivals or incidents. Participants are responsible for valid travel documents. A valid passport is needed to enter a foreign country. Depending on your nationality You might need to apply for a visa. Please ask your travel agent or foreign embassy.
